What it is
Hacker House Goa is a four-day builder residency at a private beach resort in Goa, run by 2:47PM Studio from 28 to 31 October 2026. The organisers select 247 builders on site, with the rest of the cohort joining virtually, and run a parallel creator house alongside it.
What you build
AI and blockchain projects. All code must be written during the event: brainstorming and planning beforehand are allowed and existing libraries, APIs and frameworks are encouraged, but pre-built solutions are not. Teams are one to three people and solo entries are accepted. The four days run as a genesis day, a day of problem, solution and market, a build day and a launch day, with daily product reviews, speakers and mentors on site, and a public demo day with onchain voting.
Prizes
The organisers advertise more than 50,000 USD in bounties on their application page.
Judging
The organisers state that 50 or more speakers, mentors and judges are on site, with VCs observing teams live and a public demo day decided partly by onchain voting.
Timeline
Registration opened on 7 May 2026 and closes on 1 October 2026, after which no new entries are accepted. Selection runs through published open trials, then staged shortlists through September, partner trials and an RSVP stake. The residency itself runs 28 to 31 October 2026. Entry is free: accommodation, meals and workspace are covered, and participants pay their own travel to Goa.
