What Dapping support will never ask for
Dapping support will never ask you to disclose a seed phrase, private key, password, or verification code. Support will not ask you to transfer funds or tokens, approve a token allowance, connect to an unknown site, or sign an unexpected wallet message to receive help.
A wallet connection is not custody
Connecting or authenticating a wallet lets the supported wallet prove control of an address or provide approved public context. Dapping does not take custody of your assets or private keys.
A separate signature, token approval, or blockchain transaction can create consequences outside Dapping and may be irreversible. Read the wallet prompt, network, address, contract, amount, permissions, and destination before approving anything.
Protect your account
Dapping cannot recover an external email account, social account, wallet, seed phrase, private key, or blockchain transaction. Contact the relevant provider through its official site for provider-specific recovery.
- Use an email, X account, and wallets that you control and can recover through their official providers.
- Keep devices, browsers, wallet software, and recovery methods updated and protected.
- Review connected accounts, visible wallets, company roles, group invite links, and message requests regularly.
- Sign out of shared devices and remove access that is no longer needed.
- Treat unsolicited jobs, grants, investments, partnerships, and support messages as unverified until checked independently.
How Dapping approaches platform safety
Dapping uses authentication, role-based access, validation, rate controls, monitoring, privacy controls, and review workflows to reduce risk. Safeguards evolve as the product and threat environment change.
No online service can guarantee that every account, message, listing, external link, smart contract, or user submission is accurate or safe. Verification and moderation reduce uncertainty but do not remove the need for independent judgment.
Report suspicious activity
Use block and report controls when available, or email [email protected]. Include the affected Dapping URL, what happened, when it happened, and screenshots with secrets and unnecessary personal information removed.
Do not test another user's account, access data that is not yours, disrupt the service, or publicly disclose an active weakness. Dapping does not operate a public vulnerability-disclosure or bug-bounty program at this time.
