DeFi Security Summit (DSS) is an annual conference about the security of decentralized finance, for security researchers, auditors, protocol developers and academics. Its own About page describes it as inspired by security meetings like CCC and Defcon, bringing security providers and consumers into one room.
DSS runs talks, workshops and community sessions on practical DeFi security, covering both on-chain and off-chain components. Every talk and workshop submission is reviewed by a committee of security practitioners before it reaches the programme. Past sessions are published on its YouTube channel.
Four editions have run since 2022: Stanford (August 2022), Paris (July 2023), Bangkok (November 2024) and Buenos Aires (November 2025). Speaking submissions open ahead of each edition, and volunteering is open through the site.
