Edge Tomorrow is Edge City's intergenerational creative programme for children and teenagers inside the India village. A parent, aunt, uncle or grandparent brings a young person to spend one or three weeks building and taking part in the village alongside them.
What happens
Children get a project environment of their own, supported by facilitators and by the founders, artists, builders and technologists around them, with projects growing from their own interests: an imaginary city, a business, an event, a film or a giant installation. The organisers describe the goal as building agency, friendship, mentorship and resilience. At the first Edge Tomorrow residency in California, 32 children from 22 families built a cardboard city of more than 66 structures, three child-run businesses, an escape room and their own events. Ages 4 to 13 join the core programme and teenagers of 14 to 17 can take on leadership roles. It is explicitly not drop-off childcare: parents and caregivers take part in the shared multi-age projects.
Getting in
Child and teen passes are published at 930 USD for all three weeks and 465 USD for one week. Include your children in your Edge City India application; once the family is accepted, passes are added at checkout.
