What it funds
Investment alongside a lead investor into earlier stage companies, pre-seed to Series B, that are building on the Stellar network. The integration has to be meaningful and aligned with SDF's mission of equitable financial access.
Amounts
Up to 500,000 USD per investment, matched 1:1 with the lead investor's funds, against a minimum check size of 200,000 USD. Funding can be in USD, USDC or XLM.
Who is eligible
You need a lead investor who is experienced and has made a similar investment in the last 12 months, a term sheet, and a demonstrable Stellar integration within one year. Any existing SDF grants must be cancelled before receiving a Matching Fund investment.
How to apply
Email a complete application to [email protected] with the term sheet or SAFE from your lead investor, your fundraising deck, a list of all investors with amounts and the matching funds requested, and a one page explanation of the Stellar integration with product scope and KPIs. Business and legal diligence materials and a screening interview with at least two SDF representatives follow.
