Details

Moonwell is a Compound-style money market. Supplying an asset mints an mToken that accrues interest; that position can then be used as collateral to borrow.

On-chain layout

The Comptroller on Base is the risk engine that tracks collateral factors and account liquidity.
The Temporal Governor executes governance decisions relayed to Base.
WELL is the governance token. The same address is used on Base, Ethereum and OP Mainnet, and it is listed separately from the protocol contracts.
